Dr. Nandini N

Dr. Nandini N. is a distinguished environmental scientist and academic leader with over three decades of experience in teaching, research, and policy advisory in environmental science. She is a retired Professor and Principal Investigator from the Department of Environmental Science, Bangalore University, where she led numerous nationally significant projects in air quality monitoring, environmental impact assessment, and ecosystem management.

Dr. Nandini has held key advisory and governance roles, including Chairperson of the Karnataka Government’s Committee for Environmental Science for the Implementation of NEP‑2020, Member of the Expert Appraisal Committee (Thermal and Coal Mining Projects) of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), and Member of the Laboratory Committee of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board. She has served as Principal Investigator for major monitoring projects for CPCB, KSPCB, and BMRCL, including Bengaluru Metro Phase‑II.

She is also an Executive Member of the Governing Body of Carbon NORMI, contributing her expertise to sustainability, climate action, and environmental governance initiatives.
