Prior to joining Chanakya University in 2024, I was based at reputed Engineering Colleges in Karnataka as Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering. I obtained a PhD from the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras (2020). In this applied research, I focussed on understanding the removal mechanisms of toxic metals from leachate using composite resins. I was trained as an Environmental Engineer, originally studying at the NITK Surathkal (2014-2015) & then at the CSIR – NEERI, Nagpur (2014), where I investigated the bioreactor landfilling technology for OFMSW.
My research portfolio is spread over the broad fields of Civil, Environmental & Sustainable Engineering, addressing the nexus among sustainability, resiliency, infrastructure, water, and the environment. For more information regarding my research areas & recent publications, Click here.
