A guest lecture on “Talent, Culture & Strategy: How Organizations Really Succeed” was conducted for the students of Chanakya University by Mr. Kubera Horanebilu, a seasoned business and human resources leader with over 37 years of global industry experience.
The session focused on the critical factors that determine organizational success. Mr. Horanebilu explained that organizations often fail not due to lack of intelligence or resources, but because of the misalignment between talent, culture, and strategy. He emphasized that effective leadership decisions, strong organizational culture, and clear strategic direction are essential for sustainable performance.
Through real-world examples of companies such as Tata Group, Infosys, and Asian Paints, he illustrated how alignment among these elements drives success, while cases like Kingfisher Airlines and Nokia demonstrated the consequences of poor alignment. The session also included interactive discussions where students analyzed success and failure cases.
The program provided valuable insights into organizational functioning and encouraged students to think like future leaders and strategic professionals.
