International Internship Experience
International internships offer students a transformative experience that goes beyond academic learning. Ms. Angel Darjee, 2nd year BBA student of Chanakya University, is currently undertaking a 45-day international internship in the Human Resources (HR) department at DL Hudson, a London-based company with a regional office in Dubai. Through this opportunity, she is gaining valuable exposure to global corporate practices and hands-on experience in a dynamic, multicultural work environment.
As part of her role, Angel is actively engaged in core HR functions such as recruitment and selection, onboarding of new employees, HR documentation and compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. From supporting the hiring process to observing strategies that foster a positive workplace culture, she is developing a solid foundation in professional HR practices.
In addition to her HR responsibilities, Angel is also contributing to the organizing committee of the Global Maritime Summit 2025, scheduled to be held at Trade Centre 1, Dubai, on June 12th. The summit will explore the latest advancements and disruptions in the maritime sector while promoting a collaborative approach to a sustainable and inclusive future, centered around the 5Ds—Digitalisation, Decarbonisation, Diversity, Design, and Development.
This international internship is not only enhancing her career readiness but also expanding her understanding of the world. It is helping her build intercultural connections, adapt to diverse work environments, and cultivate a global perspective on business operations and human interactions. Mr Pranav Alungal Pundareekashan, a 2nd year BBA student of Chanakya University, has recently begun an international internship in the Finance department at Tristar Transport LLC, Dubai, UAE. During this four-week internship, he is gaining practical experience in the field of finance within a global professional environment- making it an academically enriching opportunity that will positively influence his future academic and career path.
Through this experience, Pranav is not only strengthening his technical and professional knowledge but also gaining insights into international work ethics, cross-cultural communication, and workplace diversity. Working with people from different backgrounds and adapting to a new work culture is helping him develop a broader, global perspective, one that values collaboration, flexibility, and a deeper understanding of international business practices. This international internship will play an important role in shaping Pranav into a confident, globally aware, and professionally capable individual. Chanakya Student Selected for Prestigious
Graduate Research Internship at DGIST,
South Korea

Ms. Mahalaxmi Singh, 3rd year BCA academically outstanding student of Chanakya University, has been selected for a prestigious and competitive Graduate School Internship at DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology), South Korea. She will spend six weeks at DGIST, fully funded by the host institution, including accommodation and living expenses, highlighting the international recognition of her talent and potential.
Her research internship will focus on Privacy and Applied Cryptography, especially on Post-Quantum Cryptography Algorithms and Quantum Key Distribution, areas that are crucial in addressing global cybersecurity challenges in the age of quantum computing.
An accomplished student, Mahalaxmi has consistently demonstrated excellence both in academics and extracurricular activities. She won Second Prize in the G20 Poster Presentation for her research on blockchain in carbon markets and has actively represented Chanakya University at AIU cultural and sports events. Her achievements also include earning the NCC ‘C’ certificate and participating in national-level competitions such as the Supermind Hackathon in Mumbai.
