Chanakya University Global Campus Dr. Ravikant Ranjan leads Chanakya University’s internationalisation strategy and global partnership portfolio. Since joining Chanakya University in June 2024, he has driven the growth of Global Engagement, building meaningful academic partnerships with institutions around the world. He brings more than a decade of experience across international higher education and academic research, with a particular focus on creating opportunities for students, faculty and institutions to connect and collaborate globally.
He has co-authored the Guidelines for Student Exchange, Dual/Double and Joint Degree Programmes for DAAD, New Delhi, and completed the DIES Training Course on Management of Internationalisation, reflecting a sustained commitment to international collaboration in higher education.
He has officially represented Indian institutions across four continents and eleven countries, engaging embassies, diplomats and foreign government representatives on academic collaboration and overseas campus development. He has been an invited speaker and panellist at the DAAD DIES Forum. He also supports and trains institutions through COIL faculty training programmes.
As a researcher, Dr. Ranjan is a molecular cell biologist. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi, with postdoctoral research at NYU Langone Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York. He subsequently led an independent research group for four years as a Senior Research Scientist, where he established preclinical studies evaluating the efficacy of formulations in cell and animal models, developing deep expertise in cell signalling pathways and gene regulation. His research spans parasite cell signalling, gene regulation, inflammation biology, and preclinical pharmacology, with peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals.
