Ms. Isha Sharma holds a bachelor’s in commerce degree from Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth. Following her undergraduate studies, she developed a strong interest in economics and policymaking. This passion led her to pursue a Master’s degree at the Centre for Development Studies, JNU. She further deepened her research experience with nearly two years of research experience at IIT Bombay, examining the impact of the pandemic on migrant workers’ livelihoods and working conditions.
Isha’s research interest lies in development economics predominantly focusing on agriculture, health and environment. She also deeply interested in Indian Knowledge System exploring indigenous solutions to economic challenges.
