Career opportunity at SBS- Scientific Officer (No of positions: 1)

The School of Biosciences at Chanakya University invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Scientific Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day maintenance and handling of advance instruments in Bioscience Lab (such as Confocal microscope, Flow cytometer, ITC, Mass spectrometer, fluorescent microscope).
• Able to trouble shoot any technical difficulties in operating and handling the instruments.

Qualifications required:

• PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology/MTech in Biotechnology.

Skills Required:

• Good Lab practices, experience in setting up and handing advanced lab facilities/instrumentation.
• Ability to conduct short demo sessions and training for students as required in operating and maintenance of instruments.
