Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh is a biomaterial scientist whose research centers on the development of functional lipid-based systems for applications in biosciences and biomedicine. Dr. Singh’s work focuses on the development of functional biomaterials based on glycerol-derived lipids and surfactants for applications in biosciences and biomedicine. It includes the design of self-assembling lipid and surfactant systems, such as functional liposomes and lipid nanoparticles. These biomaterials are applied in antiviral and antibacterial research, membrane protein stabilization, and advanced therapeutic delivery platforms. His work bridges fundamental molecular design with biologically relevant and translational research.
Beyond his academic research, Dr. Singh is noted as a co-founder ofAbhiSoch, an initiative aimed at supporting education for students in rural areas, indicating his interest in mentorship and educational outreach.
