Inaugural IBSC Meeting of the School of Biosciences, Chanakya University

The first inaugural IBSC meeting of SBS was held on 11^th Sept 2024 in online mode chaired by Prof. Subramanya, Dean, SBS and the proceedings were conducted by Dr. Krishna Kurthkoti, Associate Professor, SBS (Member Secretary). Prof. Balaji K.N.., IISc (External member), Prof. Dipshika Chakravorty, IISc (DBT Nominee) and Prof. Geetha (BMC Biosafety) oversaw the meeting, carefully assessing the institutional safety norms, laboratory decontamination strategies, proper documentation and implementation of safety guidelines for usage of specific organisms in the laboratory. The meeting was also attended by other internal members of the IBSC committee for the School of Biosciences, Chanakya University, Dr. Shilpee Jain, Assistant Professor, Dr. Abrar Rizvi, Research Scientist and Dr. Priyadarshan Kinatukara, Assistant Professor.
