Date:05-05-2026SBS hosted an insightful research lecture titled, “From Variants to Pathways: A Functional Lens on Complex Trait Genetics” by Dr. Kaushik Renganaath, Senior Statistical Geneticist at the Oxford–GSK Institute of Molecular and Computational Medicine, University of Oxford. The talk focused on emerging approaches in functional and systems genetics, highlighting how genetic variants associated with complex traits can be translated into biologically meaningful pathways through integrative functional genomics approaches.
The lecture provided valuable insights into how integrative genomics can advance precision medicine and complex disease biology. Researchers, faculty, and students actively participated in the interactive discussion that followed the session.
