Invited Talk on Biostatistics at Research Methodology Workshop
Date:10-03-2026Dr. Anusree Mahanta, Assistant Professor at SBS was invited as a resource person at the workshop titled “Sensitization Workshop on Research Methodology for Doctors” organised by Jayadev Memorial Rashtrotthana Hospital & Research Centre, Bangalore on 10th March, 2026.
Dr. Mahanta delivered a session on “Basics of Biostatistics” through her presentation titled “Biostatistics: The indispensable tool in clinical research”. Her session effectively emphasized the practical aspects of biostatistics, highlighting when, which, and how to apply appropriate statistical tools in clinical research. The session was well received by the attending doctors, who provided positive feedback. It also featured an engaging and interactive question-and-answer segment, reflecting strong participant involvement.
