Team-Building Day at Discovery Village

The School of Biosciences, in collaboration with the Human Resources Department of Chanakya University, organized a day trip to Discovery Village, located at the foothills of the beautiful Nandi Hills. The School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences also joined in this engaging and enjoyable outing.

The day began with a wholesome breakfast, after which the resort team conducted a series of ice-breaking activities. These interactive sessions, featuring lively games, encouraged laughter, camaraderie, and a relaxed environment without formal barriers. It was a refreshing break from routine, where colleagues came together simply as a team. Following the ice-breakers, participants were divided into teams for a variety of competitive games that tested both strategy and teamwork. By midday, the group enjoyed a sumptuous lunch, after which the afternoon unfolded against the backdrop of cool weather and a light drizzle. Traditional Kannada games such as Pagadi, pottery-making sessions, and a few rounds at the pool table kept the energy and engagement levels high.

The day concluded with reflections on the value of such activities in building team spirit, shared by Dr. Subramanya, along with “Next 100 Days” plans and feedback collected by HR. Everyone returned with smiles, making the outing both enjoyable and meaningful.
