Visit from Akash Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre

A team from Akash Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Devanahalli, including Dr. Shivaprakash N. C., Principal and Dean, Shri Amar Gowda, Vice Chairman, and Dr. Naresh Shetty, Chief Executive Officer, visited Chanakya University for an interaction with SBS faculty members.

The meeting explored potential areas of academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. Prof. Subramanya highlighted opportunities for impactful joint projects, particularly in areas such as antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and fibrosis.

The discussion also focused on opportunities for faculty members and clinicians from Akash to engage with SBS students through specialised courses, lectures, and interactive sessions, bringing valuable clinical perspectives into the classroom and strengthening the integration of academic learning with clinical practice.
