Invited talk at 8th BioGroup India Meeting

Dr. Krishna Kurthkodi, Associate Professor at SBS, presented his research at the 8th BioGroup India Meeting, held on 3-4 April 2026 at BITS Pilani, Rajasthan. His talk, titled “A crucial role for protein turnover pathway in mycobacteria during iron starvation,” highlighted important insights into the survival strategies of mycobacteria under iron-limiting conditions.

BioGroup meetings are recognized as an informal yet intellectually vibrant platform for the exchange of research ideas and scientific dialogue. Bringing together researchers from reputed institutions of higher education across India, the forum has grown into an important network for the Indian life sciences community since its inception in 2015 at IIT Kanpur.

Dr Krishna’s presentation sparked engaging scientific discussions and provided opportunities for collaborative exchange of ideas among researchers working in diverse areas of life sciences.
