A talk by Prof. Saravanan Matheshwaran

Prof. Saravanan, Professor, Department of Biological Sciences and Bio-engineering, IIT Kanpur (IITK), delivered an insightful lecture at SBS on his ongoing research projects. The talk was broadly titled “Inhibiting Mycobacterial Transcriptional Repressor LexA to Combat AMR” While briefly talking about his work on various chromatin and DNA modelling-related work, he elaborated on the potential of LexA inhibitors as a new strategy to enhance tuberculosis (TB) treatment efficacy.
