Pranav M. B is a Researcher at the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Bengaluru, a leading non-profit undertaking interdisciplinary research on the internet and digital technologies from policy and academic perspectives. His work focuses on data governance, digital rights and internet governance, including institutional design for governing data and artificial intelligence. He has organised international collaborations with the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society and the Centre for Communication Governance, and co-contributed to the policy paper Reconfiguring Data Governance: Insights from India and the EU. His current research includes user experiences of digital financial risks and harms in India.
