Chanakya University Library
The library at Chanakya University promotes joy of learning through its wide collections of books, e-journals, and audio-visual resources, serves as a hub for co-learning. Chanakya University library aims to cater extensive information/knowledge required for academic community including students, researchers, faculty, and staff members. The central library strategically located on the ground floor of the new main building with easy access, ample natural light, and greenery all around. The library is spread across two floors with a floor area of 17,000 sq. ft. Currently, upper ground is functioning fully fledged with capacity of 150 seats and can hold up to 25,000 volumes.

The library remains closed on all Sundays and Public Holidays.
Library general rules
- Users of the library are requested to carry their Identity Cards, issued to them by the university, while visiting the library.
- The owner of the Identity card is responsible for the documents issued on his/her card.
- The library will usually send reminders to users for the book due, but non-receipt of reminders is no reason for returning books late.
- Books can be recalled in case of an urgent demand for the same.
- The borrower is fully responsible for the books borrowed on his/her ID card.
- All personal belongings, except money bag, mobile, notebooks, will be kept at the property counter of the library.
- Users must take care of their pen drives, CD/DVD ROMs, mobiles, laptop and wallets etc.
- The library should only be utilized for academic and research purposes.
- All users are requested to keep silence in the library and strictly follow its rules and regulations.
- Chatting, eating, sleeping, creating visual aids, and using mobile phones are completely prohibited on library premises.
- All users are requested to keep their mobiles switched off or in silent mode in the library.
- The Librarian has the authority to terminate any borrower’s membership if he/she is found guilty of such misconduct.
