Dr. Santosh K. Pagire is an Organic Chemist and Assistant Professor at Chanakya University, Bengalore, India. He earned his Ph.D. with higher distinction at the University of Regensburg under Prof. Oliver Reiser, followed by the DFG–Walter Benjamin Fellowship in Japan with Prof. Shibasaki and Prof. Kumagai, and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship in the UK with Prof. Varinder Aggarwal FRS. He is affiliated with the University of Tasmania as a Research Fellow in collaboration with Prof. Alex Bissember (ARC grants: AUD 2.5 million). He maintains strong global collaborations and has 3,000+ citations. His work in organic chemistry and photocatalysis aims to develop sustainable, cost-effective pharmaceutical solutions for global challenges.
