School of Management Sciences

Dean’s Message

Professor and Dean, School of Management Sciences

Rajendra Bandi

Chanakya University’s School of Management Sciences is conceived as an institution for managerial education in a world shaped by rapid technological changes. Accordingly, analytical skills are embedded within the management curriculum itself, enabling students to develop the managerial judgment required in a digitally-driven work environments.

The school’s curriculum design evolves through sustained engagement with industry and research communities. Case studies and real-world problem engagement are integral pedagogies, enabling theory and practice to inform each other. The emphasis is on developing decision-makers who can navigate uncertainty.

Equally central to the School’s philosophy is interdisciplinarity. Real-world managerial challenges rarely come in disciplinary silos; they often intersect with economics, law, public policy, humanities, and technology. Unlike most stand-alone management schools, Chanakya University’s multi-school ecosystem offers students the flexibility to personalise their learning through minors offered by other schools of the University.

Through this integrated approach, the School of Management Sciences aims to nurture ethically grounded and responsible leaders, prepared not only to manage organisations, but to shape institutions and contribute meaningfully to society.
