ALOHA 2026: A Heartfelt Farewell for the Graduating Batches of SAHSS

Chanakya University’s School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (SAHSS) bid an emotional farewell to its graduating students through ALOHA 2026, a student-led farewell event organized with faculty support. The programme celebrated the outgoing batches of PG (2024–2026), UG Honours (2022–2026), and UG (2023–2026) students.

The event commenced with an engaging activity in which seniors searched for their names in a specially designed crossword puzzle, followed by photographs at a themed photo booth. As participants gathered in the auditorium, each senior was welcomed with a rose, setting a warm and appreciative tone for the occasion.

A series of cultural performances and interactive activities formed the highlight of the programme. Dance and singing performances entertained the audience, while games encouraged active participation. One memorable segment involved seniors identifying their friends through childhood photographs. The event also featured the presentation of light-hearted mock titles and fun dares, creating an atmosphere of laughter and camaraderie.

The farewell took a reflective turn as graduating students came forward to share their experiences and memories from their time at Chanakya University. Their anecdotes highlighted the friendships they had built, the challenges they had overcome, and the growth they had experienced throughout their academic journey. These personal reflections added a meaningful dimension to the celebrations, reminding attendees of the bonds and experiences that defined their years on campus.

The programme concluded with a heart-warming video montage capturing memorable moments from the students’ university life, evoking both laughter and nostalgia among the audience. Following the screening, students assembled on the university lawn for a group photo session before proceeding to Room 222, where specially curated gift hampers were presented. The hampers included a commemorative photo magazine, a laminated batch photograph, and handwritten letters from juniors. Refreshments were served thereafter, bringing the event to a close on a note of warmth, gratitude, and celebration of the graduating students’ journey at Chanakya University.
