Dr. Srinivas Rau has 25 years of teaching experience in Mathematics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; this includes work in Eritrea and Libya. Research output include around 25 publications in Spectral Geometry and Analytic Number Theory; one Research Project for SERB was successfully completed as Principal Investigator. The topic was L series of Quadratic Fields. He has administrative experience as Head of Department /Coordinator for 12 years. To his mathematical colleagues, he strongly recommends G.H.Hardys book “Ramanujan : 12 Lectures on his life and work”.
