Centre for Integrated
Public Health
The Centre for Integrated Public Health (CIPH) is a multidisciplinary initiative dedicated to advancing public health through a unique integration of traditional knowledge, modern science, and community-centered approaches. Its key research areas include leveraging traditional practices for health promotion, combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and harnessing data-driven precision public health strategies. CIPH also focuses on food, nutrition, mental health and well-being, and engaging communities through health surveys. It works to shape public health policy, develop low-cost health solutions, and improve the management and sustainability of health systems. Through these efforts, the Centre aims to foster a healthier, more resilient society. It is committed to generating knowledge that informs practice, empowers communities, and shapes sustainable public health solutions. By bridging disciplines and sectors, CIPH seeks to create lasting impact on population health at both local and national levels.
