SUMMARY:Interaction with Faculty and Research Scholars
DESCRIPTION:29th October 2024 (Offline)\n\nDuring the second half of his
 visit on 29th October 2024 to Chanakya University\, an Interactive session
 for Faculty and research scholars was organised by CIKS. The session was
 intended to discuss the scope and methodology of research in the field of
 Indian history\, culture and other related subjects. 19 members of faculty
 and research scholars participated in the interaction. The discussion built
 upon the previous talk by Dr. Vedam on ‘Exploring the Deep History of the
 Indian Civilisation’. In this session various questions were presented by
 the faculty and scholars and were clarified by Dr. Vedam. The discussion
 revealed that many similarities exist between the ancient Indian\, Egyptian
 and Greek mythology. Even fields like astronomy and medicine were practiced
 in these civilizations but the trace of which have been broken\, lost or
 distorted over time. Methodologies to look back into the traditions\,
 research methods to engage in meaningful and unbiased research were also
 emphasised upon during the discussion. The session provided meaningful\,
 practical and innovative insights into research methodology and paradigms.
